Planned Maintenance - Wendover Arm - 17th November for 2 Weeks

The Canal & River Trust are planning some maintenance works on the Wendover Arm from the 17th November for 2 weeks. This will involve the clearance of aquatic weed, reeds, fallen trees and brush from the water to ensure we maintain a good flow. The works will be taking place between Wendover and Drayton Beauchamp - just North of ‘The Holloway’ bridge where the water enters a culvert.

We will be using an aquatic vehicle (a Truxor) and a mini excavator. We do not anticipate closing the towpath at this stage but through access may be restricted in some areas at some times to ensure we can move equipment around safely. We will endeavour to keep inconvenience to a minimum and will be working in a maximum of two locations at any point in time.
