See below for the attached the advanced works notices for works due to take place in January on the A413 London Road and at Durham Farm for the Wendover Dean Viaduct. Also below is the North Chilterns Area newsletter which gives further information on the works that have taken place in 2021 and what will be happening in 2022 as well as the notice of the Christmas sheet piling/bridge demolition works. The sheet piling notice has been posted to 3,000 address in the Wendover area and EKFB staff have visited the closest residents to make sure they are aware that these works will be taking place.
Details are in the below notices but expected works include:
Full closure of the rail line at Wendover from 00.01 on Christmas Day to 4am on 29th December and 01.00 on 1st January to 1am on Monday 3rd January. This is to complete sheet piling works on the rail line and to demolish a bridge over the rail line, works will be ongoing 24 hours a day throughout the closure period. People wishing to travel by train should refer to Chiltern Rail or Network Rail for details of bus replacement services.
A413 London Road Watermain protection works – 4 weekends in January, these works will require a lane closure for the full duration of the weekend however works will only take place during the day.
