PARISH COUNCILLORS

My goal is to help keep Wendover, a beautiful market town with wonderful scenery and lovely open spaces, a great place to live.

I have lived in the Chilterns for nearly 30 years, moving from Ley Hill to Chartridge, then Wendover.

I grew up in London and eventually settled in Wendover over 4 years ago with my family.

My wife and I moved to Wendover in 2016, and we love the town’s bustle and its warmth.

My wife and I have been local residents since 1994, having originated from London.

I came to Wendover in 1964 as my husband joined the G.P. Practice.

I joined the Council to protect and promote the wonderful things that make Wendover a great place to live and visit.

I have been a resident in Wendover since 1983 having had my last RAF posting at RAF Halton.

I was born and raised in Wendover and was educated at the local Schools.

I have lived in Wendover for over 25 years and consider myself fortunate to live in such a beautiful part of the country despite the obvious challenges of HS2.

I have been a Wendover resident since 2018 having lived across Bucks previously.

Every 4 years all Parish Councillors have to stand for election. This means all positions are opened and nominations are open to anyone in the Parish wishing to stand. Buckinghamshire Council manage the elections on our behalf.

The next scheduled local elections in Buckinghamshire will take place on Thursday 1 May 2025. All town and parish council seats will be up for election along with the 97 seats at Buckinghamshire Council, which covers 49 wards. This reflects the changes from the Local Government Boundary Commission’s electoral review.

• Publication of Notice of Election: Tuesday 18 March 2025
• Nomination delivery from: 10am Tuesday 18 March 2025*
• Nominations close/delivery deadline: 4pm Wednesday 2 April 2025*
• Polling day (contested polls only): Thursday 1 May 2025
• Verification and count: Buckinghamshire Council wards: Friday 2 May 2025 (Stoke Mandeville Stadium). Town and Parish Council areas: Saturday 3 May 2025 (Stoke Mandeville Stadium)
