I arrived in Wendover in1968 as part of an RAF family. I went to John Colet School. I Then studied highway maintenance and construction and became an highways engineer and manager around Aylesbury and in Milton Keynes. I married a Wendover girl in 1975. Ann and I have two daughters who were brought up and educated in Wendover. They still live near by.  In 1980 I started a specialist landscape business that the family runs to this day. In parallel to this business I have worked as a journalist and as a commercial yacht skipper.

I have previously been a Parish Councillor in Wendover and served a time as Chair. I was able to be part of the council that rebuilt the clocktower and the Manor Waste, introduced fitness equipment to our parks, stood up to HS2 and worked with the community as it faced Covid. Experience tells me that a parish council should maintain and enhance the parish estate, that it should facilitate the groups that enliven our community and that it should listen to and give a voice to Wendover.”

I enjoy being a grandad, yachting, travel, dog walking, reading and visiting local pubs and restaurants.
